Dear people of interest in decorating and staging,
My Wife Susan and I hired Signature Properties to sell our home at 20 Maple Road in Horseheads, NY. Jan Duff was assigned as the decorator and stager to assist with getting our home ready for sale. From the time we met Jan on her first trip to our home until now which includes many contacts and interfaces we have been very pleased with Jan’s services. Jan is very professional, experienced, and honest with the highest integrity. Jan went thru our home room by room with many complements but also very helpful recommendations. Jan recommended we update our living furniture and pictures with more modern and staged furniture her firm had available. Jan recommended we show our dining room which was turned into a computer room with dining room furniture and an area rug. She recommended new counter tops for the kitchen, new up to date light fixtures throughout the home. Some things as minor as the layout of the family room furniture, location of TV, plants, and pictures. After making these changes along with repainting the home we could tell the difference in appearance these recommendations made. We had 41 showing on our home and had a contract after 42 days on the market.
Jan come back to our home on her own time for a second visit. Jan met me at another home and helped me move furniture, pictures and other staging items. Jan then come over and assisted with location and hanging of pictures and final staging. When we had an open home scheduled and the realtor hosting the showing had a personal emergency Jan offed her weekend time and hosted our open house at last minutes notice. Susan and I cannot say enough or recommend more Jan’s decorating and staging services.
